cultural and social activities The main goal is to draw attention to the unsatisfactory condition of the castle and the need for financial backing of the reconstruction. To this end cultural and social activities will be (co-) organised, funded either by the Foundation or in co-operation with other subjects. renovations Phase 0. Opening some interior sections in a good condition for administrative and representative use and for cultural, social and possibly even business and marketing activities of the owner as well as partners and sponsors. Expected costs: 500,000 to 1,000,000 CZK Phase I. Stabilising the condition of the building and dealing with emergencies jeopardising the building (minimising epicentres and stopping the spread of dry rot, patching collapsed parts of the roof and roof frame, etc.) Expected costs: 5,000,000 to 15,000,000 CZK Phase II. Complete renovation of the building Expected costs: 150,000,000 to 250,000,000 CZK
fundraising Offering potential partners and sponsors the use of representative, business and administrative rooms with a very special “genius loci” for use during their business and marketing activities. Organising a public collection Using EU funds Organising a lottery the proceeds of which would go towards renovating the castle Bank loan (for recoverable investments in renovations)
possible uses of the venue The future use of the venue will largely depend on which of the financial solutions will prove to be viable. Among preliminary choices for the future use of the venue are (combinations are of course possible): administrative „Business“ centre (+ eventual business incubator) education (e.g. university campus, boarding school etc.) hotel flats retirement home health facilities (e.g. home from the chronically ill, a super-specialised clinic, etc.) entertainment (musical productions, casino, gym, fitness, sauna, “children’s park” etc.) warehouse restoration of the historical interiors to their original state for use as a historical exhibition (on the condition that the original furnishings can be retrieved)
